Endometriosis is a complex and often underestimated disease, making accurate preoperative assessment crucial. Whether you are an imaging specialist or a surgeon, understanding the full spectrum of the disease before treatment or surgery is essential. Proper preoperative evaluation helps in counselling the patient, obtaining informed consent, and anticipating the need for a multidisciplinary team such as a urologist, gastrointestinal surgeon, or even an oncologist. This comprehensive course on Imaging in Endometriosis will take you from the primary modality of evaluation, pelvic ultrasound, to MRI, detailing when it is required, how to interpret images, and how imaging findings correlate with surgical outcomes. The course takes you from scan to scalpel, highlighting real-life cases and surgical correlations. It also includes the IDEA consensus statements (with updates) and the ENZIAN classification. Two lectures on MRI are included—one covering the Basics of MRI and the other focusing specifically on MRI in Endometriosis. This course is designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy, guide surgical planning, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
Certificate of Participation will be issued after all self-assessments are successfully completed.
