Gynecology Academy courses aim to provide systematic comprehensive coverage, recent advances, and new-found knowledge in the rapidly expanding fields of Fetal Medicine, Gynecological Ultrasound, Infertility Management and Maternal Medicine
Gynecology Academy offers courses in the fields of Fetal Medicine, Gynecological Ultrasound, Infertility Management and Maternal Medicine. Presently we have 16 courses. Four are major courses, with comprehensive coverage in all aspects of the above-mentioned fields. We also have short courses in these fields to suit your individual specific needs. There is one short course on Research Methodology – Understanding Data.
In addition, the option to purchase individual lectures for viewing is also available. The list of lectures in a course can be viewed in the various course pages. To view the entire list of individual lectures, go to ‘Education’ in the ‘Home Page’ and choose a course from the drop down menu, ‘Gynecological Ultrasound’ (if you want a lecture pertaining to Gynecological Ultrasound), Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Ultrasound (if you want a lecture pertaining to Fetal Medicine), Infertility Management (if you want a lecture pertaining to Infertility) or Maternal Medicine (if you want a lecture pertaining to Maternal Medicine), refer to the section –‘Lectures and Topics’ and click on the ‘plus sign’. The overview for each lecture is provided against it and you can also purchase it right there if it interests you.
Yes, observership with our faculty is available for a fee at the centres where they work.

1. Fetal
15-day observership, in Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Ultrasound, Fetal Procedures and Fetal Echocardiography is available at CIMAR Hospital, Cochin, India under Dr Bijoy Balakrishnan. Click here for more details.

There is a 3-day observership and a 5-day observership with basic 3D training, in Gynecological Ultrasound available in Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, India under Dr Mala Sibal. Click here for more details.

3. Infertility Management:
Both a 6-day observership and a 10-day onsite training program, in Infertility Management is available at Dr. Nagori’s Institute for Infertility and IVF, Ahmedabad, India, under Dr Sonal Panchal and Dr Chaitanya Nagori. Click here for more details.
The academy offers training through flexible online programs which are a convenient way of acquiring specific knowledge and expertise. The courses can be completed at your own pace, time and place. You will have access to the talks for an extended period. We have spent time and effort to develop interesting, interactive and engaging courses. Our expert faculty have put together their many years of diligent study of various cases including rare and challenging ones, into these teaching programs through their lectures.
Yes, to increase ease of access to study material, under various circumstances, the Academy has taken special care to make all the lectures accessible on the phone. Self-assessments and the image submission can also now be accessed from your mobile phone. The Academy, however, suggests you use your laptop/desktop for regular use as fine details in the study material will be much better visualized on a bigger screen.

Practicing radiologists, gynecologists, sonologists, physicians and medical students / trainess in these fields, desiring to learn or enhance their skills in fetal medicine & obstetric ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound, infertility management, or maternal medicine from anywhere in the world, can enrol for the course.
The courses offered by Gynecology Academy are not available to AYUSH (Ayurvedic, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) graduates.
The courses offered by the academy are not affiliated to any university or medical body.
The courses will enhance your medical skills but will not provide you with a license to practice in your country. License to practice is decided by the medical governing bodies/council of a country and requirements to practice vary from country to country.
There are a variety of certificates offered by the academy based on the course you opt for. There is no certificate issued for individual lectures.

For the three major courses of Fetal Medicine & Obstetric Ultrasound, Gynecological Ultrasound and Infertility Management :
  • Certificate of Participation will be provided on completing all the self-assessments of the lectures with correct answers.
  • Certificate of Completion is available if, in addition to the self-assessments, image submission is completed and approved by the faculty.
  • Certification of Competence is provided when in addition to self-assessment and image submission one has passed the final examination scoring 50% or more.
For the Maternal Medicine course:
  • Certificate of Participation will be provided on completing all the self-assessments of the lectures with correct answers.
  • Certification of Completion is provided to those who in addition to completing self-assessments also pass the final examination, scoring 50% or above.
Registrations are open all through the year and there is no deadline. You can begin your course anytime on payment of the course fee.
To ensure that the course is being accessed by authentic doctors/sonographers the academy requires you to submit a soft copy of your graduation, post-graduation certificate, Medical Registration and a government ID proof (Passport copy, Driver’s license or Aadhar Card)
For those are practicing in India and have opted for Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Ultrasound Certification Course (requiring image submission), a copy of the machine’s PCPNDT registration and PCPNDT certificate empaneling you is required.
The academy has various courses to choose from. The duration of the course varies from 1 to 12 months depending upon the course you choose. For details of the duration please visit the section on ‘Available Courses’ in the homepage and then click on the course that interests you. This will take you to the page that will provide you with details of that course.
Gynecology Academy provided a variety of courses and types of certificates based on your specific needs. On completion of your course duration, access to the lectures and study material will be revoked.
In this period, based on the type of certification you choose, you will also have to complete the following:
For a Certificate of Participation, you will require to complete the self-assessments of all the lectures in the course, with full score (ie., all the answers need to be correct).
For a Certificate of Completion, in addition to completing the self-assessments, you require to successfully submit all the images of each module in the course.
To obtain a Certificate of Competence, in addition to self-assessment & image submission you have to secure a minimum of 50% in the examination conducted at the end of the course.
We realize that you are likely to have some queries before enrolling for a course or while you are doing the course or have completed it, you can always contact our support staff who will be happy to help.
Yes, all the answers must be correct (i.e., full score is essential). Self-assessments are a way of testing one's understanding of a lecture. Prior to issuing any certificate, the Academy would like to ensure that the lectures have been completely understood. One can always rehear the lectures until the right answers are obtained for all questions. In case, despite multiple attempts, you have just a question or 2 at the end of your course that you could not answer you can request a discussion with the faculty to understand the concept.
Yes, you can surely upgrade the type of certification you have opted for. All you require to do is to inform our support staff and pay the difference in fees. Please note that this is only possible if you have chosen complete courses that have the option of such certification, namely Fetal Medicine & Obstetric Ultrasound, Gynecological Ultrasound, Infertility Management and Maternal Medicine.
The self-assessment for individual lectures is activated only after you begin hearing that lecture. Image submission is accessible from the beginning of the course.
It can happen occasionally that in the following circumstances that the uploaded images are not visualized:
a) Your duration of the course is completed.
b) The images uploaded were found to be non-compliant or copied.
In such circumstances, the images get archived and are not visible. Please contact the support team at [email protected] for any clarification or solution regarding the same.
Alumni doctors who have enrolled in the full course can access the articles and resources available for the lectures of that particular course. This access will remain available even after the completion of the course.
If you score below 50% in the course end examinations and do not pass the examination, the following options are available to you:
You could opt for a reappear in the next examination held by the Academy
You could opt out of obtaining a Certificate of Competence and could instead receive a Certificate of Participation or Completion instead, if the required criteria for those are met.
On successful completion of the course requirements your certificate will be mailed to your email ID registered with Gynecology Academy, within a period of a month.
In the event that you are not able to complete your course (be it lectures, self-assessments, image submission or examination) within the course duration, you can contact our support staff and extend your subscription to the course by paying an extension fee, to complete the same.

On clicking the 'Info' icon that is against every lecture you will see the synopsis of the lecture and the cost. You can click on the 'Buy Now' icon and purchase the lecture.
Gynecology Academy provided a variety of courses and types of certificates based on your specific needs. The fee varies with the course you choose. Yes, the academy accepts payments online by credit card, debit card, and net banking.
In case you are not able to pay successfully online, please check the following:
- While entering your address (including your pin code) at the time of payment on the Academy’s payment gateway, ensure that it matches with the address recorded with your bank.
- You have sufficient funds available in your bank account or credit card. Also, check if you have overshot your credit card limit for the day.
- Don't refresh the page or click the browser ‘back’ button while the payment is being processed.
- Please make sure the credit/debit card number and the CVV numbers are entered correctly.

Yes, all the delegates who are present for the entire duration of the public webinars will receive a certificate of participation.
So far, we have not been awarding CME points.
We have a few faculty webinars available to visitors on registering at the website. The recordings of most webinars are only available to the alumni of our major courses. However, we do have upcoming repeat or new webinars, that you can participate in, the details of which are available in the ‘Events’ page.
Gynecology Academy organizes some webinars/meetings meant only for the alumni of the respective courses. Please contact our support team for any further clarification regarding this.
