Course Overview:
This 6-month online course is a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of Gynecological Ultrasound. In recent years, gynecological ultrasound has seen rapid advances primarily owing to improved ultrasound equipment
and expanding research in the field.
Unfortunately, systematic education and training in this field is limited. Further, since a typical medical residency provides precious little exposure in the use of ultrasound
to diagnose gynecological pathologies, it is not uncommon for clinicians and radiologists to lack an in-depth knowledge of gynecological ultrasound. Prompt and specific diagnosis is of pivotal importance in today’s world
appropriate management of women with Gynecological pathologies.

This course caters to practicing sonologists, gynaecologists and radiologists and those who are training to become practitioners in Gynecological ultrasound, as well as postgraduate medical students in these fields.

The faculty are experts in Gynecological Ultrasound. They have authored research articles and books on the subject, and are passionate teachers who have trained several doctors in Gynecological Ultrasound for almost 2 decades.
Salient Features:
- This 6-month online course is a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of Gynecological Ultrasound, including infertility. This includes basic and advanced training in the subject.Various techniques of evaluation and rare pathologies have also been included.
- The lectures include abundant images and numerous videos. Videos are essential because transvaginal scanning is a dynamic & interactive examination, that can only be captured and explained well with the help of videos.
- There is self-assessment at the end of every lecture to test knowledge acquired
- Access to online lectures for an extended period of time to allow self-paced learning and revision of talks and videos for in-depth learning
- Facility for answering questions and clarification of doubts on material provided is also available.
- Online image submission of images for assessment is a requisite for those opting for Certificate of Completion
- In addition, we have an optional online exam at the end of the course (usually at the end of 5th month or 6th month), to certify the student has sound understanding of gynecological ultrasound and is a pre-requisite for Certificate of Competence.
- Alumni webinars are typically held every two months. During these sessions, alumni doctors present on various topics, enriched by inputs from faculty and fellow alumni doctors. Even after completing your course, you can continue to access and participate in these webinars at Gynecology Academy.
- Upon joining the complete course, you become part of the Telegram group of alumni and faculty. In this group, challenging cases encountered by alumni are discussed, and information about updates and upcoming events is shared. You will remain a member of this group even after completing your course.
- The faculty have recently started adding links to resources and articles for each talk. These suggested learning materials are designed to further enhance and support your knowledge on the topic. They may be updated and altered by the faculty based on the latest evidence-based information. Those enrolled in the course can access these resources, and this access continues even after completing the course.
