As we gear up for the upcoming GynoUS Conference, we invite you to contribute to the vibrant exchange of knowledge by submitting your abstract.

Key dates - abstract submission:

  • 1st February 2024: Abstract submission opens
  • 10th April 2024: Last date for abstract submission and presenting author registration deadline
  • 22nd April 2024: Abstract notifications for selected presentations


Topic categories for abstract submission:

Please note the focus of the study should be ultrasound diagnosis in the first six categories. The study may include other imaging modalities, biomarkers or clinical features in addition to ultrasound.

  1. Uterine pathology: Including pathologies of endometrium and myometrium.
  2. Adnexal masses: Ovarian and other adnexal masses.
  3. Cervical and vaginal pathology – including use of Gel Sonovaginography.
  4. Pelvic pain - Including any pathology known to cause acute or chronic pelvic pain, like endometriosis, torsion, PID etc.
  5. Pregnancy related disorders - Including all types of ectopic pregnancy, retained products of conception and Gestational Trophoblastic Disease.
  6. Ultrasound guided procedures diagnostic.
  7. Ultrasound guided procedures therapeutic/operative.


Instructions for abstract submission:

  • Abstracts must be submitted online through the official online abstract submission system that will open on 1st February, 2024.
  • Submission by fax, e-mail or courier will not be accepted.
  • One may submit a maximum of 4 abstracts.
  • Abstracts must describe original work.
  • At the time of submission if an abstract has already been published elsewhere, this cannot be submitted.
  • Total length of abstract must not exceed 400 words (included in this count are the title, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions).
  • The abstract has to have a title and the body will be structured as follows with the following subheadings:
    • Objectives
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
  • For case reports there are no subheadings.
  • Select the appropriate subheading using the drop-down menu provided. Please make sure that you have chosen the subheading that best matches your abstract.
  • Authors: All author full names should be included. Ensure that the correct spelling is confirmed for all contributing authors. No amendment will be permitted after the submission deadline. Name of the presenting author should be mentioned and he/she should register prior to last date for abstract submission (March 15th).
  • Affiliations: Each author’s affiliation should be specified. Affiliations should include the primary employer or institution name, and location (city, state or province, country).
  • Disclosures: You will be asked to complete specific disclosures before your submission.
  • You must complete all the sections of the abstract submission. Incomplete abstracts will not be reviewed.
  • After completing your abstract submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Please save this email for your personal record.
  • The top six abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation on May 4th between 8 to 8.45 AM.
  • Notifications of abstract decisions will be sent by April 20th, 2024.

Recording of presentations

By submitting an abstract, you authorise the organisers to record your abstract presentation (if accepted for oral presentation) which may be displayed at Gynecology Academy’s website as well as used for promotional purposes.
